Nanukuu ‘Freemasons wa Tanzania? Waliojitokeza waziwazi na kujitambulisha ni kina Chande “Andy Chande” ambao ni matajiri wafanyabiashara maarufu. Katika mahojiano aliyofanya na mwandishi Muhiddin Michuzi wa gazeti la Sunday News la tarehe 3 April 2005, Sir Andy Chande alikiri kuwa anao wanachama zaidi ya 3,000 (yeye mwenyewe ni District Grand Master), na kuwa wamekuwa wakishirikiana na Rais Yoweri Museveni, Makamu wa Rais wa Kenya Moody Awori, na Rais Mstaafu Ben Mkapa (hakutaka kutamka wazi kuwa ni wanachama, lakini wapo watu wengine wanaofahamu kuwa hao aliowataja ni wanachama wa hiyo kitu, pamoja na Mzee Mengi). Alitamka kuwa mtu yeyote akishajiunga na freemasonry hawezi kutoka tena, kwa maneno yake “Once a freemason, always a freemason”.
Tazama jibu la Sir Andy Chande alipoulizwa na Muhiddin Michuzi kuhusu yalipo makao makuu ya Freemasons nchini Tanzania: “It is located along Sokoine Drive, just behind the Kilimanjaro Hotel in Dar es Salaam. We have a licence to sell drinks to members; we have also been exempted by the government of Tanzania from registration We have the full blessings of the government. Once that building was about to be taken over for public purpose, but when I sent a memorandum to the State House, we got it back. You know, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere was not a Freemason, but he knew what Freemasonry is”.

Freemasonry is the oldest and largest world wide fraternity dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of a Supreme Being. Although of a religious nature, Freemasonry is not a religion. It urges its members, however, to be faithful and devoted to their own religious beliefs.
The organization of Freemasonry is based on a system of Grand Lodges, each sovereign within its own territory. There is no central authority governing all Grand Lodges. However, to be acknowledged by others, acceptable traditions, standards and practices must be maintained.
In our Province the governing body is called the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Canada in the Province of Ontario. It is under the leadership of the Grand Master. He presides over 53,000 Masons who belong to one or more of the 587 lodges in our jurisdiction. Each of these lodges is under the direction of a Worshipful Master.
WHAT IT DOES
As a fraternity, Freemasonry provides an opportunity for men to meet and enjoy friendly companionship. In the spirit of helpfulness and brotherly love and guided by strict moral principles it encourages goodwill toward all mankind. Freemasonry is of a personal nature in its private ceremonies. Its ritual dramatizes a philosophy of life based on morality. It promotes self improvement. The tools of operative masons are used to symbolize and teach the basic principles of brotherly love, charity, and truth which Masons are encouraged to practice in their daily lives. Charity is a tangible way in which Masons help those whose circumstances in life fairly warrant it.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Our traditions can be traced directly to the associations of operative masons. They were men of outstanding character and high ideals, who built the cathedrals, abbeys, and castles of the Middle Ages.
With the decline of cathedral building in the 17th Century, many guilds of stonemasons, called “Operative” masons, started to accept into their membership those who were not members of the masons’ craft and called them “Speculative” or “Accepted” masons.
It was in these groups, called lodges, comprised mainly of “Accepted” masons that Freemasonry, as we know it today, had its beginning.
In 1717, four such lodges, which had been meeting regularly in London, united to form the first Grand Lodge of England under the direction of a Grand Master. From that first Grand Lodge, Freemasonry has spread throughout the world. Today, some 150 Grand Lodges have a total membership of approximately four million Masons.
MEMBERSHIP
One of Freemasonry’s customs is not to solicit members. However, anyone should feel free to approach any Mason to seek further information about the Craft.
Membership is for men, 21 years of age or older, who meet the qualifications and standards of character and reputation, who are of good moral character, and who believe in the existence of a supreme being.
A man who wants to join a lodge must be recommended for by two members of that lodge. He must understand that his character will be investigated. After approval by the members of that lodge, he will be accepted as an applicant for membership in Freemasonry.
The doors of Freemasonry are open to men who seek harmony with their fellow man, feel the need for self-improvement and wish to participate in making this world a better place to live.
Any man who becomes a Mason is taught a pattern for living – reverence, morality, kindness, honesty, dependability and compassion. He must be prepared to honour his country, uphold its laws and respect those in authority. He must be prepared to maintain honourable relations with others and be willing to share in Masonic activities. Freemasonry is a way of life.
Mimi naona kama huu ni mtego mkubwa kuliko tunavyofikiri, na pengine wengi wanaweza kuingia kwenye mtego huo bila kujua, sina uelewa mkubwa kuhusiana na hii freemansory lakini kwa ujanja wanaoutumia tunahitaji sana Mungu atupe uelewa na ufunuo zaidi, tupate walimu watakaoweza kutufundisha kupitia blog hii ili tujifunze na kutoingia mtegoni.
Kwa mambo machache niliyoyapata, kwamba hawa watu ni hatari, hizo charity wanazofanya ni mbinu tu ya kuficha mambo yao maovu ya sirini. Kwa kifupi ni “devil worshippers” na ni maadui wakubwa wa hizi zinazoitwa “Abrahamic religions”, yaani dini zenye asili yake katika ukoo wa Nabii Ibrahim ambazo ni Judaism (kupitia Isaac), Uislamu (kupitia Ishmael) na Ukristo (Yesu kristo, ukoo wa Daudi myahudi).
Hizi dini tatu ingawa wafuasi wake huwa wanabishana sana kuhusu mambo ya kiimani na hasa usahihi wa imani ya kila mmoja, wataalamu wanaziunganisha kwa mambo 2 ya kimsingi, nayo ni uasili wake katika Ibrahimu(maana Ibrahimu ndiye aliyezaa makundi mawili hasimu kutokana na wanae Isaac na Ishmael), na imani kwa Mungu mmoja wanayeamini ni “Almighty”, mwenye nguvu zisizopimika. Sasa hawa freemasons wanampinga huyu Mungu lakini kwa ujanja wa hali ya juu, nao wanaye wa kwao “Supreme Being” wanayemwabudu kwa njia zao za siri sana, na hata ukijiunga hizo njia hutaoneshwa mpaka ufaulu ngazi fulani za uaminifu na usiri ambazo huendana na viapo mbalimbali. Freemasons wana-recruit watu kutoka imani 3 nilizotaja, na wakishafuzu mafunzo na kukolea imani, huwatajirisha ili wengine nao wapende kujiunga. Huwa wanawahimiza waendelee kubakia katika dini zao (ili waweze kuendelea kuaminika huko) na huwapa uwezo wa kifedha kuchangia katika shughuli za charity mbalimbali na zile za kidini. Tabia ya freemason aliyekomaa hutoa michango katika dini mbalimbali (anaweza kuwa mkristo anachangia makanisa, madrasa, misikiti yote kwa kiwango sawa, au akawa ni mwislamu anachangia hivyohivyo makanisa, madrasa, misikiti kwa kiwango sawa, ni maelekezo waliyonayo ya kujenga imani wapendwe na kila mtu). Lakini pia licha ya kujihusisha na dini za watu, huwa hawafuati mafundisho ya dini hizo, mfano mtu anayechangia hela za kununulia watoto wa madrasa vitabu vya dini, huyohuyo mahali pengine atachanga za kununulia kondomu za kugawa bure, au ataanzisha klabu au kiwanda cha pombe, au ataanzisha mchezo wa kamari ambavyo vyote vinapingwa katika vile vitabu alivyowanunulia watoto! Au mtu atatoa mamilioni kuchangia kanisa wakati huyohuyo ni mla rushwa au ana madaraka aliyopata kifisadi, nk.
Kinachonipa hofu zaidi ni pale ninaposikia kuwa wanatumia maendeleo ya science na technologia kupoteza watu, kwa mfano vision yao ya “New World Order” mradi wa kuwawekea binadamu wote “microchip” mwilini, ili rekodi za kila binadamu ziweze kufuatiliwa katika computer moja ulimwenguni kote, na ziwe accessible kupitia connection ya satellite. Kwa hiyo hicho ki-microchip kinakuwa na unique identification number kwa kila mwanadamu (kama zile identification codes za bidhaa kwenye supermarkets), ukipita popote hakuna haja ya kuulizwa kitambulisho, hiyo microchip ndiyo access code. Asiye na microchip akitaka kupita kama ni kwenye huduma (airport, hospitali, maktaba etc) milango inakataa kufunguka! Kwenye hospitali huhitaji kutaja jina lako, ukiingia tu chumbani kwa daktari, kuna chombo kinasoma microchip iliyoko mwilini mwako, mara moja rekodi zako zote zinatokea kwenye screen ya computer.
Hivi hili si lile lililoongelewa katika ufunuo wa Yohana? hizo microchips si ndo kuwekwa zile chapa 666? Kwa wao kutumia hii path ya maendeleo haya ya sayansi na teknologia, je itakuwa rahisi kwa watu wote tuliookoka kuweza kupambanua?
Binafsi nimekuwa nikikisoma kitabu cha ufunuo lakini nimeona kuna mambo makubwa kuliko ninavyoelewa, sijapata neema ya kukielewa vizuri ndiyo maana na tamani sana wapendwa waliopata neema ya kuelewa vizuri (ufunuo) tusaidiane.

TUKEMEE USHETANI HUU
Freemasonry kwa nijuavyo mimi ni shirika ambalo mambo yake ni siri kuu. Mimi nilifanya utafiki usio rasmi kwenye mitandao, nikafatilia historia yao kama inavyoonyeshwa mara kwa mara kwenye makala za historia katika televisheni za magharibi pamoja na kuongea na watu waliofuatilia kwa karibu mambo yao.

Naomba niorodheshe mambo machache niliyoambiwa kuhusiana na Freemasonry.
1. Ni kweli Freemasonry kama ilivyo maana yake kwanza ilkuwa ni kundi la mafundi waashi (masons) au wajenzi kuwa lugha nyingine. Walikuwa niwataalamu waliobobea kwenye masuala ya ujenzi wa mahekalu na mabenki ya zama hizo zinazoitwa kwa kizungu (medieval times). Niliambiwa walikuwa ni watunzaji wa pesa za kanisa katoliki. Kwani walikuwa wanajenga mahekalu(cathedrals) za wakatoliki na mabenki/ mahandaki ya kuhifadhia pesa pamoja na kuzikia(catacombs). Niliambiwa wanaweza kujenga hayo maandaki wa utaalamu mkubwa kiasi kwamba ukiingia ndani ya hayo mahandaki bila ramani unaweza ukashindwa kutoka hata unaweza kupotelea humo humo ndani usiweze kutoka tena. Hicho ndicho kilichokuwa ni kiwango cha utaalamu wao.
2. Kwa kuwa walikuwa ni waashi ndiyo maana alama zao ni vifaa vya ujenzi. Pima maji n.k
3. Inasemekana mji mkuu wa marekani (Washington DC) ulisanifiwa na kujengwa na Freemasons. Na inasemekana ni mji makini ambao umejengwa ukizingatia pembe tatu zenye nyuzi zinazowakilisha u freemason.
3. Ikatokea kipindi ambapo hawa freemasons wakaasi kwa kuanza kujishirikisha na mambo ya nguvu za giza. Wengine wanasema walianza kuiba pesa za kanisa katoliki, lakini ukweli halisi haujulikani. Kutokana na sababu hizi na zinginezo ambazo ni siri kati ya kanisa katoliki na freemasons, Freemasons wakafukuzwa kutoka ukatoliki. Ndio maana hakuna maelewano kati ya freemasons na wakatoliki. Wakatoliki wakaanzisha shirika jingine badala ya hao freemasons lijulikanalo kama Jesuits.
Jesuit Fathers ni mapadri wa katoliki wa daraja la juu sana wenye elimu ya juu zaidi ambao hufanya kazi za siri za utawala na udhibiti ndani ya kanisa katoliki.
4.Kuhusu imani yao (freemasons) nikaelezwa kwa kifupi kuwa wanaamini Yesu na Lucifer ni mtu na ndugu yake. wanaamini kuwa Lucifer ndiye mwema na mzuri lakini wanaamini kuwa Yesu ndiye mwenye mbaya alimfanyia hila Lucifer aonekane mbaya.
4.Kinachoendelea ndani yake kuhusiana na ibada zake ni siri kwani kuna daraja ambazo muumini wa freemason anapanda kutokana na kubobea katika imani ikiwa ni pamoja na kutunza siri zao. Ninajua kuwa daraja ya juu kabisa ni nyuzi ya 33 (33rd degree)
5. Kwa hiyo ijapokuwa wanatumia biblia wanapoongelea “Bwana” huwa hawamaanishi Yesu bali huwa wanamaanisha Lucifer ambaye ndiye wanayemwabudu.
6. Ni watu wenye nguvu mno na mambo yao ni makubwa mno na siri zao ni nzito mno. Ndiyo maana haziko wazi. Wafuasi wa kiwango cha chini wala hawajui shirika hili linahusika na nini manake hata wao hawaambiwi kitu. Kwa wafuasi wa daraja ya chini wanakwenda ku socialize tu. Yaani kwa wasio jua kitu kule kwenye lodge zao ni kama ywca au wmca au club hivi. Kwenye nchi kama marekani watu wasio jua siri wanachukulia kama sehemu za kusocialize tu.
7. Freemasonry inawekwa pamoja na makundi mengine makubwa ya siri, yanayoendesha ulimwengu mzima kwa nguvu za kiuchumi, siasa na mambo ya utawala.
Wanacho kitabu chao cha kufundishia wanaojiunga kiitwacho “Morals and Dogma” mwenye kuweza kusoma kizungu chake aangalie kwenye mtandao.

Nimewapa mamlaka juu ya nguvu zote za yule adui hakuna kitakachowadhuru Luku 10:19

Nimekuomba utuelezee hayo kwa sababu umeonesha kuwa unawafahamu na umetushauri kuwa tusijaribu kuelezea kitu ambacho hatuna uhakika nacho, na pia umesema kuwa tusiwachafulie.
Kwa vile mahali hapa ni mahali pa kujifunza kweli ya Neno la Mungu, itakuwa ni vema ukifanya hivyo ili tuwafahamu, yawezekana tunaweza kupata kitu cha ziada cha kutufanya tuzidi kupiga mbio katika imani yetu.

King Hassan II of Morocco was one; and today president Idriss Deby of Chad, Denis Sassou N’Guesso of the Congo, Mamadou Tandja of Niger, Gnassingbé Eyadema of Togo, Paul Biya of Cameroon, Blaise Compaoré of Burkina Faso, and Omar Bongo of Gabon are Freemasons, all members of the Great French National Lodge or of the African obedience affiliated to the latter. General Robert Gueï, author of the December, 1999, coup in Côte d’Ivoire was also an initiate.
The other French obedience, the Great East of France (GODF) and the Great Lodge of France (GLF) are also implanted in French-speaking Africa, either directly, or affiliated to the African obedience: thus, Congo’s former president Pascal Lissouba was an initiate of the Great East. But the relatively recent and spectacular breakthrough of the GLNF in French-speaking Africa does not seem to have been affected by its setbacks in France, where it has been put on the stand in Nice by the prosecutor Thierry de Montgolfier.
If Freemasonry is strongly implanted in French-speaking Black Africa, it is also true about English-speaking Black Africa, but also Latin America (Simon Bolivar, the “libertador,” was a mason) and in the United States (president Franklin Roosevelt also was one), without mentioning Europe, where, in Great Britain, a member of the royal family is traditionally the Grand Master of the Great United Lodge of England, in this particular case today duke Michael of Kent [1].
The creation of the first Lodge in French-speaking Black Africa, by the Great East, dates back to 1781, to Saint Louis of Senegal: the initiated are exiled French, mostly military servicemen and merchants related to the Company of Senegal: there are no African members at the time. As Georges Odo underlines in his remarkable small book “Freemasonry in Africa” (Masonic editions of France, Paris, 2000), it is a “colonial” Freemasonry and not an African Freemasonry.
Several Freemasons illustrated the history of the French colonization. First of all the two initiators of the abolition of slavery, the abbot Grégoire under the revolution, then Victor Schoelcher, Secretary of State in the navy under the 2nd Republic, which abolished it definitively in 1848 (slavery had been meanwhile restored by Napoleon the First) [2]. Then Abd-el Kader, welcomed in 1864 in the Great East, which meant by this gesture to show French gratitude for the protection which he had granted, in Syria, to the Christians of Damascus during the massacres of 1860 [3].
The important artisan of the French colonial expansion, Jules Ferry, was a Freemoason. As well as the Senegalese deputy Blaise Diagne, appointed in January, 1918 by Clémenceau Prefect of the Republic in charge of the recruitment of black troops. And as the governor of the colonies Félix Eboué (Black native of Guyana) who, in 1940, made Chad cooperate with the free France, involving all French equatorial Africa and Cameroon on the side of General de Gaulle, after the regime of Vichy had adopted anti-masonic and anti-Jewish laws.
Freemasons (or “brothers of light,” as one sometimes calls them) were rather numerous in the colonial administration, notably in Madagascar. After the Second World War, French Freemasons in Black Africa, notably the civil servants, mostly fought in favor of independence of the African overseas territories, and more and more Africans joined the Lodges. The French Freemasons recruited also Africans in the metropolis, where Black students were frequently sought by the Lodges.
A Beninese writer, Olympe Bhély-Quénum, wrote a novel based on this experience, The initiated, in which he tells how, in one city of the province where he studies, the headmaster of the local secondary school tries to indoctrinate him [4]. After 1960, the year of independence, Freemasonry continued to spread, by africanizining and becoming emancipated from the French obedience. In most of the French-speaking African countries, national obidiences developped, but they kept more or less tight links with the French ones, whose cleavages they sometimes reflected.
A Multitude of Obediences
Freemasonry is multiple, even split, and maybe more in France than elsewhere. The clearest cleavage is the one that separates the Great East from the other Lodges. Contrary to the other rites, this last one does not call in its constitution upon the Great Architect of the Universe, which is God, and its members do make an oath on the Bible or another holy book. This decision was taken in 1877 (an event that shocked Abd-el Kader and made him leave this obedience), and the brothers of the Great East – whose president Emile Combes – played, as one knows, a major role in the elaboration of laws on the separation of the Church and the State at the beginning of the last century.
The Great Lodge of France and the Great French National Lodge recognize the Big Architect of the Universe, but only the GLNF is recognized by the United Lodge of England, the mother obedience of world Freemasonry. The English Lodge blames indeed the Great Lodge of France for the friendly links which it maintained with the Great East. The GLNF is also the only French obedience recognized by American [5] Freemasonry. There are obediences of lesser importance, as the human right (the only one to accept women), the Great Traditional and Symbolic Lodge Opera [6], the Lodge Memphis Ephraïm (where Garibaldi was one of the great masters) and the Great Feminine Lodge of France.
In spite of the interest of the French Freemasons for Africa, only two of them were at the head of the ministry of Cooperation, the socialist Christian Nucci, member of the Great East, and the Gaullist Jacques Godfrain, introduced to the GLNF. Guy Penne, François Mitterrand’s former counsellor for African affairs at the Elysée Palace from 1981 to 1986, currently senator of the French residing abroad, is a member of the Great East. Bernard Bertry, Grand Master of the Great Traditional and Symbolic Lodge Opera, was besides president of the Movement of Solidarity and Participation (MSP), a small formation of left-wing Gaullists.
If the members of the Great East are generally described as left-wing, those of the GLNF are labeled as being from the right wing and pro-American. There is in the Hauts de Seine department a Freemasons’ association described as Gaullist, “Allegiance, Assembly and the Future,” which was led for some time by the former Grand Master of the Great Lodge of France, Michel Barat [7].
Generally speaking, the national obedience of French-speaking Africa emerged from a fusion of the Lodges of the Great East and the Great Lodge of France, which existed before independence. It is the case of the Great Gabonese Equatorial Rite (GRE), the Great East and the United Lodges in Cameroon (GOLUC), the Great East and associated Lodges in the Congo (GOLAC) and of Great Benin. In Gabon however, along with the GRE, their exists a Great National Lodge of Gabon, affiliated to the GLNF. In Côte d’Ivoire the Great United Lodge coexists with the Great Eburnie, respectively close to the Great Lodge of France and the Great East. In Togo thre also remains an obedience linked to the Great East and another one linked to the Great Lodges of France. In Senegal, the Lodges close to these two institutions also preserved their respective identity, but the GLNF is also present.
However, the framework is unstable and obediences sometimes change their orientation. In the recent past, President Sassou N’Guesso tried hard, with more or less success, to create a Great Independent Lodge of the Congo, whereas Alain Bauer, Grand Master of the GO, consecrated a new obedience, the Great East of the Congo [8].
Most of the obediences related to the Great East and the Great Lodge of France participate in African and Malagasy humanist and brotherly Meetings (REHFRAM) which gathers every year since 1992 in an African capital and which invites these French Lodges. The last meetings took place in 1996 in 1997 in Cotonou, in 1998 in Libreville, in 1999 in Lomé and in 2000 in Antananarivo. The African Lodges affiliated to the GLNF – which in this particular case is on its own – do not participate in the REHFRAM. The Lodges of the former British colonies are also not invited (they are also divided between obediences linked to the Great United Lodge of England, to that of Scotland or of Ireland, as, for example, in Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Uganda). On the other hand, the Great East of Zaire, a branch of the Great East of Belgium, takes part in these “humanist and brotherly” meetings between the Lodges of French-speaking Africa.
Pursuits and False Plots
Freemasons have never lacked enemies, often not very recommendable, which is undoutedly their best “certificate of morality.” Hitler was their most relentless and most merciless enemy, who intended to fight against the imaginary “Judeo-Masonic” plot. The fascist dictatorships of Mussolini, French, Salazar, and Pinochet also prohibited Freemasonry.
The communists were also hostile to Freemasons: in 1922, the French PC ratified the decision of the Fourth congress of the Communist International excluding Freemasons from its ranks: the French communists who were Freemasons had to choose between the party and their obedience [9]. Apparently, this rule was forgotten, but the communists are rare in the masonic Lodges.
As for the Vatican, the position has somewhat evolved. The first condemnation of Freemasonry by the Roman Catholic Church – by pope Clement XII – dates back to 1738, and hostility to the French “brothers of light” reached its paroxysm during the separation of the Church and the State. In spite of the decline of the struggle between the clerics and laymen (Freemasons are no longer excommunicated), the Lodges are still suspect in the eyes of inflexible Catholics. In 1983, the Congregation for the doctrine of faith has still proclaimed that Freemason believers are “in the state of grave sin.” Let’s add that as far as Freemasonry are concerned, nothing forbids to practice the religion of its choice, including in the Great East of France, nevertheless renowned as very lay. Lodges welcome Catholics as well as Protestants, Jews and Moslems.
It is in this context of hostilities resulting from very different horizons, from Catholics to Marxism-Leninism, that Freemasonry was forbidden in several countries of the African continent, and was sometimes persecuted.
The most notorious repression of Freemasonry was in Côte d’Ivoire, at the time when the very catholic Félix Houphouët-Boigny was at the head of the country. In 1963, the President of Côte d’Ivoire imagined a series of plots which enabled him to eliminate from the political scene the leaders of the left wing, suspected of communist sympathies, of Democratic party of Côte d’Ivoire (PDCI), the unique party at the time. Some of those accused were Freemasons, most from the Great East, notably Jean Baptist Mockey, Jean Konan Banny, Amadou Thiam and Ernest Boka. They were humiliated, beaten, tortured, sometimes in the presence of the president, in Yamoussoukro where he built, about thirty years later, a replica in concrete of the St Peter basilica in Rome. Ernest Boka died in detention. The works of Jacques Baulin, former counsellor of the president of the Côte d’Ivoire, and of Samba Diarra, one of the accused persons, evoke the calvary of these former dignitaries of the regime. Samba Diarra quotes in his book several of the most violent diatribes against Freemasons pronounced at the time by Houphouët-Boigny’s supporters [10].
Freemasonry was prohibited, including the Great Lodge of France. In 1971 however, the president of Côte d’Ivoire solemnly recognized himself in public that the plots of 1963 were only an invention – for which he blamed an obscure police captain – and the accused persons were rehabilitated. Some were even appointed Ministers once more, as Jean-Baptiste Mockey. The fires in Côte d’Ivoire’s Lodges were relit at the beginning of the 1970s, after an appeal of Pierre Biarnès, member of the Great East, who was at the time correspondent of Le Monde in West Africa, and appointed for this mission by the Grand Master of this obedience, Fred Zeller, to Houphouët, [11].
In Zaire, president Mobutu had forbidden Freemasonry when he came to power in 1965, before authorizing it again in 1972, at the request of the Great East of Belgium.
In Madagascar, during the first presidential mandate, Didier Ratsiraka, Marxist at the time, but married to a Catholic, had prohibited Freemasonry, which became again very active in the Big Island since the democratic changes which were a prelude to the election of President Albert Zafy, in 1993. A Great Malagasy National Lodge, sponsored by the Great French National Lodge, was created in 1996, in competition with the Great Malagasy Rite, close to the Great East.
The advent of Marxist regimes or close to Marxism – in Guinea under Sékou Touré, in Mali under Modibo Keita, and in Benin under Mathieu Kérékou – also led to the suspension of Freemasonry in these countries. Fily Dabo Cissoko and Hammadoun Dicko in Mali, Barry Diawandou and Barry III in Guinea, who were Freemasons and opposed the authorities in place, were arrested and died in prison.
In Benin, it is only after Guy Penne’s intervention, at the beginning of 1980s, that Mathieu Kérékou allowed to reopen the Lodges.
However, it is in Liberia that Freemasons were most cruelly eliminated, when the staff sergeant Samuel Doe took power by a coup in 1980. For generations, the Presidency of the Republic and the Liberian government was monopolized by Afro-Americans, generally in correlation with the Great Black obedience of American Freemasonry, called Prince Hall (obedience which initiated, incidentally, the former South African president Nelson Mandela). Moreover, the presidential palace displayed Masonic armorial bearings. The president Tolbert (a Freemsaon as his predecessor William Tubman) was murdered and Samuel Doe ordered the execution in public of all the members of the government.
Freemasonry is also attacked by fundamentalist Islam, which does not prevent Moslems of Black Africa from becoming members – Lebanese, Christians and Moslems, established on the continent are relatively numerous in the Lodges of Western Africa. The reference to the Great Architect of the Universe is very ecumenical, and the Moslem Freemasons can in principle take oath on the Koran, as the Jews on Torah and the Christians on the Bible.
Rivalries and Controversy of Influence
One of the most illustrious Moslem Freemasons is undoubtedly the Gabonese president El Hadj Omar Bongo, whose conversion to Islam, in 1973, had aroused all the more surprise as the big majority of the Gabonese population are either animistic, or Christian [12]. In an interview to Jeune Afrique, the leader of the Gabonese State justifies his membership in Freemasonry by underlining that it is a “school of tolerance and respect for others [13].”
In Senegal, one finds Freemasons in the spheres of power, although the very big majority of the population are of Moslem confession and although Freemasonry collides there with the lively hostility of an Islamist fundamentalist tendency. This hostility strongly expressed itself during the 1980s, in the Senegalese press. The magazine Islamic Studies published an article entitled “No, a Moslem Cannot be a Freemason,” and the periodical Wal Fadjri attacked masons – notably an article of the Egyptian magazine Allewal Islami asserted that “Freemasonry and the Bahaï movement, as well as their clubs (Rotary, Lions, etc.) arise from Judaism and are clearly incompatible with Islam.” The same arguments were articulated by another Senegalese publication, Le Musulman [14]. But the hostility of the Moslem fundamentalists towards Freemasonry does not prevent various obediences from proselytism on Moslem ground: thus, the GLNF recently created three Lodges in Djibouti, where one is naturally faithful to the Koran.
It is in the light of this ostracism and the pursuits of the past that it is necessary to measure the prestige and influence of African masons, expressed by the attempts, among other facts, of mediation in internal conflicts, which tore apart several countries of the continent. By acting as intermediaries, African masons follow the example of their French brothers, who tried and achieved some results. As one knows, the agreements of Matignon on New Caledonia owed a lot to the intervention of the Freemasons who counted in their ranks, as it is asserted, the European Jacques Lafleur as well as the Kanak Jean-Marie Tjibaou. A more recent attempt, in 2000, in the Corsican affair, on the initiative of the Great East, whose Great Master was then a Corsican, Simon Giovannaï, had ended in a fiasco.
One of the first mediations carried out by African masons was in Benin in 1989, during the national conference which accompanied the restoring of the multiparty system. Great Benin, one of the obediences, published on this occasion a text which called for tolerance and contributed to avoiding violent confrontations. The Freemasons of Togo tried also, in 1993, to reconcile the Togo Popular Assemby of President Eyadema (who closed the Lodges in 1972 and allowed the to reopen their doors several years later) and his opponents during a meeting in Paris in the office of the Great East – an initiative which unfortunately failed [15].
More recently, in June, 1997, in the Congo Brazzaville, French and African Freemasons (representing the Great Lodge of France, the United Great Lodge of Côte d’Ivoire and the GOLUC) tried hard to reconcile president Pascal Lissouba, member of the GO, and his opponent Denis Sassou N’Guesso, affiliated to the GLNF via the Great Independent Lodge of Senegal [16]. This attempt did not succeed and the civil war continued until Sassou N’Guesso’s military victory.
The intervention of Freemasons in political life naturally causes serious rivalries, not only between more or less rival obediences, but also with other more or less vaguely similar organizations – at least in the public opinion. It is case in Cameroon, where a deaf controversy of influence among the masons and Rosicrucians, widely reported in the local press [17], seems to have developed. For a long time, rumors claimed that president Paul Biya was Rosicrucian, especially since the Grand Master of the Rosicrucians of Cameroon, Titus Edzoa, a former Minister, was appointed to the post of Secretary-General at the Presidency.
A true dramatic change of events occurred in 1996, when the Grand Master of the French branch of the Ancient and Mystic Order of Rosicrucians (AMORC), Serge Toussaint, come to Douala for a working visit and announced that the name of the Cameroonian president did not appear in the files of the order: his statement was published on the front page of the Cameroonian newspaper Challenge Hebdo [18]. Almost on the same date, another newspaper, Dikalo, published a communiqué accusing Titus Edzoa of “abuse of authority” in the process of privatization. Several months later, the latter left his post of Secretary-General, and, in July, 1997, he was arrested for another affair, this time concerning the liquidation of a bank. Meanwhile, the Rosicrucian Grand Master made the mistake of announcing his candidacy against Paul Biya at the next presidential election.
In fact, the affair was even more complicated than it had seemed at first sight as far as the Rosicrucians are concerned. If Paul Biya did not appear in the files of AMORC, it is because he apparently belonged to a dissident Rosicrucian branch, the International Center of Cultural and Spiritual Research (Circes), an association created in 1988 by Raymond Bernard, who had settled down in Cameroon, where he had been the personal counsellor for cultural affairs under president Biya.
“Brotherly” Meetings
The rivalry between French masonic obediences does not prevent them from having relatively close contacts within inter-obedience associations – one of the most important is the association of Freemasons who are members of Parliamant – that are defined as “brotherly.”
In Africa, the African and Malagasy Humanist and Brotherly Meetings (REHFRAM), even if they encourage links between French and African obediences, are sometimes also the theater or an occasion for controversy. In 1996, in Libreville, the pro-governmental daily L’Union published a statement of the Grand Master of the Great Equatorial Rite, François Owono Nguéma, rejecting the accusation of “Satanism” addresed to masons [19]. While Le Bûcheron, the newspaper of the main opposition party, the National Rally of Bûcherons, whose leader is a catholic priest, father Mba Abessole, asserted that the Gabonese Freemasons “were corrupt and satiated [20].”
During REHFRAM meetings held in Cotonou the following year, the French and African Great Masters held a joint press conference, summed up in a Beninese daily, Le Citoyen, under the title: “Freemasonry is Not a Group of Magicians.” Besides, one of the Freemason dignitaries minimized the “incomprehension” which remains between the Roman Catholic Church and Freemasonry, adding: “With other religions, for example the Protestants and the Moslems, there are no problems [21].”
Besides, the REHFRAM meetings of 1997 were a scene of sharp confrontation between the Great East of France and African obediences; the delegation of the Great East, led by the Grand Master Jacques Lafouge, preached French-style agnostic secularism, which caused a sharp retort by the Conference of African Masonic Powers (CPMAF), that unites most of the French-speaking African Lodges. The CPMAF underlined in a statement that Africa “suffered too much from various interventions” and clarified that REHFRAM “would know how to be neither the theater of rivalry, nor a tribune for demagogic jousts, or a stake in admitted or not admitted hegemonies.”
The third element of this warning was exactly aimed at the attempt of the Great East to bring African obediences to abandon the Center of Liaison and Information of Masonic Powers that signed the Strasbourg Appeal (CLIPSAS) to join the Liberal Intercontinental Masonic Association (AMIL), created on the initiative of the Great East. During a meeting in Santiago, Chili, in 1996, the GO indeed left CLIPSAS accusing it of behaving as a “super-obedience.”
CLIPSAS, established in 1961, leaves every obedience the freedom to believe or not believ in God, but it is critical to Anglo-Saxon Freemasonry [22], which it intends to counterbalance. Today it unites nearly fifty obediences (European, African and South American). AMIL, which initially counted less than ten, apparently wants to be even more lay than CLIPSAS, and one can undoubtedly focus the action of the Great East in Cotonou in the more general context of rivalry between France and the United States on the African continent. But this action (apart from the negative reaction of African obediences) provoked some defections in the framework of AMIL, which, among others, withdrew from the Great Traditional and Symbolic Lodge Opera [23]. The other French Lodges did not hide that they shared the position of the CPMAF.
Sociologists will undoubtedly see that the reaction of the CPMAF and its implicit refusal of the atheism or agnosticism of the laymen of the Great East are proof that African societies remain profoundly imbued with religiosity, including that of ancestral cults or of monotheist confessions.
One question remains: why has Freemasonry prospered in Black Africa? One can undoubtedly advance that secret societies are familiar to the Africans, as underlined by Olympe Bhély Quenum in the opuscule quoted above. There are more or less secret societies in most of the communities villagers where, according to ethnologists as father Eric de Rosny, they constitute an effective counterweight to the power of traditional leaders [24].
It is as well likely that during the colonial period, the Africans who joined masonry – and who mostly belonged to the intelligentsia – saw there a means of social progress, because their admission to a Lodge placed them at an equal status with the Whites within the obedience. However, European masons sometimes hesitated to admit Black brothers in their Lodges, for example, in Cameroon.
It is also necessary to say that the esoteric and almost mystic aspect of Freemasonry attracted African intellectuals, such as the great Malian writer Hampaté Bâ (Moslem) who saw it as a school of ecumenism and conciliation between monotheist religions, but who did not remain for a long time a Freemason [25].
Therefore, Freemasonry attracts in Africa both generous souls as well as unscrupulous politicians – in the image of the entire humanity, without distinction of race.
We are firmly established as a genuine Masonic organisation, exclusively for women and our Masonic secrets came into the possession of the Order in a clear and regular way, given freely to women by Masons.
For the last two hundred years, there have been repeated stories told of women who obtained the Masonic secrets by hiding behind doors and listening from cupboards, but it was in no clandestine manner that our modern Order obtained them.
In 1882, a lodge working under the Charter of the Ancient and Accepted Rite of La Grande Loge Symbolique de France. called lodge Les Libres Penseurs, resolved that the time had come when women who had proved themselves free and of mature mind and understanding should receive initiation into Masonry. The first woman to receive the honour of this freely offered initiation was Mlle. Maria Destraimes. As a direct consequence of this noble and far-sighted action lodge Les Libres Penseurs was forced to detach itself from its parent body and form a separate Masonic body known as La Grand Loge Symboloique Ecossaise, so symbolically identifying itself with the strong and individual traditions of Scottish Freemasonry.
One of the early initiates was Mrs (Dr) Anne Besant, a woman very active in the Theosophical Society, who quickly became a leader in this new movement. The name of the Order was subsequently changed to that of the Universal Order of Co-Masonry and it spread rapidly throughout the world. It arrived in Britain in 1902 and the first London Co-Masonic lodge was formed on 26th September 1902.
A small number of members of Co-Masonry became dissatisfied with the governance, which was under a Supreme Council of the 33 degree, (domiciled in France) instead of a regular Grand Lodge. These members earnestly desired to have a Masonic Order which held men and women in equal regard and practiced Freemasonry on exactly parallel lines to that of the United Grand Lodge of England, in constitution, ritual and in breadth of interpretation. After much thought and discussion they felt their right course was to secede from the Universal Order of Co-Masonry and this they did in the year 1908.
They formed themselves into three Lodges, under the leadership of experienced Past Masters. Most Worshipful Brother, the Rev. W. F. Geikie Cobb, DD, the Rector of St Ethelburga’s, Bishopgate, was elected as the First Grand Master.
The names of the first three lodges were:
Golden Rule. No 1
Emulation. No 2
Lodge of Unity No. 3
They were all consecrated by the new Grand Master on 20th June 1908 and are still in existence to this day.
At its foundation our Order consisted of both men and women founders, but experience taught that it was desirable that men wishing the benefit of Masonic initiation should seek it within the ranks of the United Grand Lodge of England or the Grand Lodge of Scotland and so the initiation of men ceased.. But our women founders agreed that it would be ungrateful, in view of their past services to the Order to ask the one or two remaining men original founder members to retire, and they remained within the Order until their death.
In 1912 Grand Master M.W. Bro Geikie Cobb, retired due to ill health and the first woman Grand Master, Marion Lindsay Halsey, became our new leader.

The Order’s work was naturally much restricted during the Great War, by which time three new lodges had been added to our ranks. These being

but at the end of hostilities in 1918 our Order began to expand.
We soon realised that our Order needed its own permanent Temple and administrative offices. Our still young and poor order was fortunate to obtain the magnificent gift of a freehold house in Pembridge Gardens, Bayswater, London, W.2. from R.W. Bro. Florence E. Turner. The Brethren generously raised a subscription and the house was adapted to the requirements of our Order, with a Temple erected in the garden at the rear of the house, and duly furnished as the result of many individual and lodge gifts. Our founder Brethren were justly proud of the beauty and dignity of its equipment and we remember the efforts of our early brethren with gratitude in helping to establish our Order on such a firm cornerstone.

Under the leadership of Grand Master Litten, the Order resolved to spread its work to the provinces in order to enable women there to partake of the joys of Freemasonry. Lodge Mercury, No. 11 was founded with a Charter and the status of a Travelling Lodge, on the precedent of military lodges chartered under the older Obediences of England and Ireland. Under the founding mastership of Lady Markham and in order to carry out its work for Freemasonry, Lodge Mercury, No. 11 travelled to centres in which women already known to members of the Order were anxious for initiation into Freemasonry. Able and experienced Brethren, together with complete sets Masonic furniture, were sent to initiate candidates and to guide these new centres until they were sufficiently strong to start lodges for themselves.
The Constitution of our Order has always recognised Royal Arch and Mark Masonry as part of pure and antient Masonry under its jurisdiction and early in 1929, Grand Master Litten considered that our Order was sufficiently advanced to promote the founding of Royal Arch Chapters. Among the past and present members of the Craft lodges at that time were women who were already Royal Arch Masons. On June 11, 1929, the first Convocation of Pre Chapter, No. 1 was held and two further Chapters, Logos No. 2 and Zodiac No. 3, were consecrated the following year. Later two new Chapters were consecrated in London and Provincial Chapters in Liverpool, Sunderland, Manchester and Birmingham. These Royal Arch Chapters are governed by a Supreme Grand Chapter, with a Constitution based on that of the Supreme Grand Chapter of England.
In 1938 the founding master of Lodge Mercury No. 11. W. Bro Lucy Bertram O Hea, CBE, Lady Markham, became Grand Master.

Since its formation in 1929, Lodge Mercury No. 11 has added more than forty-two lodges to the Order, and it always has several centres in course of preparation.
The second World War again halted our forward progress, our brethren were dispersed far and wide, but before the war ended, five new Lodges had come into being. It is interesting to note that all of these were in the recently heavily bombed areas. At the cessation of hostilities the work was renewed with redoubled energy; new degrees were inaugurated and new centres opened.
In March, 1946, the first Mark Lodge-Keystone Mark Lodge No. 1 was consecrated by the then Grand Mastet M. W. Bro. Lucy B. O’Hea, C.B.E .Lady Markham.
When Grand Master O’Hea retired she was replaced by M.W. Bro Mary Gordon Muirhead Hope.

In 1948 GM Muirhead Hope resolved that the four Cryptic Degrees should be worked as part of the continuing Order of the Holy Royal Arch Jerusalem. It was agreed that these four degrees, Most Excellent Master, Royal Master, Select Master and Super Excellent Master, should be worked by the Order following the tradition of the Scottish rather than that of English Masonry. This decision allowed further interesting and ancient degrees of the Red Cross of Babylon (Knight of the Sword, Knight of the East, and Knight of the East and West) were also authorised to be worked in London under the auspices of the Supreme Grand Chapter.
In 1948, a Petition was presented to Grand Lodge that the Order should add the Christian Chivalric Degrees, as time and circumstances permitted. After considerable deliberation, it was agreed that this Order should work the Templar Degrees under the old English (York) Rite Series as established under the original Grand Conclave presided over by Thomas Dunckerley, and also worked by the North of England Templar Encampments, the Baldwyn Encampment (Time Immemorial) and the Irish Rite of High Knight Templar, rather than to accept the present division of these into those worked under the authority of the Grand Priory and of the Ancient and Accepted Rite. This decision was based on the regret expressed by nearly all Masonic Writers on the division of Chivalric Masonry in the nine teenth Century. It was felt that this new Order was in no way bound by the compromise then arrived at, and should go back to the original working of the Chivalric Degrees in the follow ing sequence. Knight Templar, Knight of Malta, Rose Croix of H.R.D.M., Knight Kadosh, Royal Arch Knight Templar Priest. The first Chivalric Degree worked by the Order was, .therefore, that of the Knight Templar (Military and Religious Order of the Temple) thus going back to the ancient tradition of the historic Order of the Temple, which originally permitted the admission of women.
In 1948 Lodge Mercury No. 11 first crossed the Border to carry Women’s Masonry into Scotland. The first centre was in Glasgow; this was soon followed by two enthusiastic lodges in Aberdeen, and on January 17th, 1959, our first lodge in Edinburgh was consecrated. Masonry in Scotland has always had its special and particular traditions, and these our elder brethren were determined should be maintained in our Scottish lodges, as it has been proved that the two traditions can work side by side in complete amity.
In March 1950 the first Chapter of the Rose Croix of H.R.D.M., Mystic Cup No. 1, was founded, to be followed in one year by a second Chapter, The Rose and The Flame, No. 2. The final degrees of Grand Elected Knight Kadosh and Royal Arch Knight Templar Priest were worked annually at Headquarters, London.
In October 1950, a petition was presented to the Grand Mark Council for permission to add Royal Ark Mariner to the work. This was granted and the Degree of Royal Arch Mariner began to be worked by the three London Mark lodges.
The affairs of the Mark and Royal Ark Mariners lodges were controlled by the Grand Master’s Mark Grand Council and the Grand Master’s Royal Ark Council, respectively.
Also in 1950 the Order determined to take a further step, that of offering Masonic initiation to English-speaking residents overseas. Many women visiting friends or relations in England enquired if it were not possible for them to become Freemasons during their stay in the Mother country. It was therefore decided to form a special lodge, named Voyagers, for this purpose, and also that of enabling these women, when returned to their own countries, to be kept in touch with Headquarters and, gradually, if circumstances proved fruitful, to form Lodges in their particular part of the world. The conception of Lodge Voyagers proved so popular that there were 425 founder members when it was consecrated on 2nd December 1950 and there are now over 700 members. In the eight years of its existence, not only have visitors to these shores received degrees here, but members of Lodge Voyagers have travelled in teams to Canada, where there are now four Craft Lodges in Ontario; to Adelaide, South Australia, where our first lodge in the Southern Hemisphere was consecrated
on October 31st, 1957, and to Southern Rhodesia, where our first lodge was consecrated in Salisbury on November 6th, 1957. Nearer home, overseas lodges have been consecrated in Guernsey, Jersey and Belfast. Faith in what we have to offer, and the longing for it that we have found in women
overseas, have given us the courage to undertake and guide these ventures, and the reward was felt most directly when representative members were able to be with our British brethren at our Golden Jubilee Festival in the Albert Hall on September 7th, 1958.
In 1952, the Order resolved to augment the working of the masonic Chivalric degrees by inaugurating the second great Order permitted to Masons under the Articles of 1813, that of the Knights of the Red Cross of Rome and Constantine, with its adherent degrees of Knight of the Holy Sepulchre and St. John the Evangelist.
The Royal Order of Scotland was inaugurated in 1954, and meets at Headquarters.
By 1958, when we celebrated out Golden Jublilee, this work in the provinces had so grown that it became necessary to found Lodge Mercury No. 111 for the purpose of covering all England north of the river Trent, while Mercury No. 11 continued south of that line. In the first few years of a new provincial lodge, senior officers were drawn from existing lodges. The work required much devotion, skill, leisure and money and to help the financial side of the work, an Expansion Fund was built up by contributions from all members of the Order who believe that, as Freemasons, they are also called upon to be masonic missionairies.
On Sunday 7th Sept, 1958, our Order celebrated its Golden Jubilee and our Grand Officers were photographed at headquarters.

So Brethren of Lodge Anwyl, we are heirs to a glorious Masonic tradition, and it is our duty to pass on to our daughters the aims and objectives of our Order. Our lodge goes from strength to strength. At our 24th regular meeting which we held on Sunday 22 Oct at Bethenia, Oakenholt, Flint, we were hounoured to receive R.W Bro M.H.P. Sowerby, PGW, Grand Inspector of North Wales and North West Midlands, G.M’s. G.S when she represented our current Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother Mildred Rhoda Low, at the installated of W.Bro Joyce Marian Sprake.
Today we have a membership of 51 members, made up of 5 Honorary Members, 25 Founder Members, 9 Joining Members and 12 Initiate Members.
Brethren, may the Great Architect of the Universe continue to adorn our Order with moral and social virtue. And may we continue to grow and proper to be able to give the benefit of Masonic initiation to our daughters.

Today, apart from their occasional appearance in a Monty Python sketch, or the popular theory that Jack the Ripper was one, Masons pass unnoticed by the general public. But this wasn’t always so.
In 1827, the United States witnessed the birth of a third political party. This had never happened before. The new party offered America its first alternative to the two dominant political groups. Like so many third parties to come, this one had a rather narrowly-focused platform. It was dedicated to countering the malevolent and subversive influence of the international cabal known to the world as Freemasonry. It was named the Anti-Masonic Party, and the Anti-Masons were well aware that theirs was an uphill battle.
America’s first President, George Washington, had been a Mason. So were many other Founding Fathers, including Ethan Allen, John Paul Jones, Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Benjamin Franklin. Eight of the 56 signatures on the Declaration of Independence belonged to avowed Masons, as well as nine on the Constitution.
In 1832, the Anti-Masonic Party managed to elect Millard Fillmore to Congress, but their candidate for President received only seven votes in the Electoral College. He was crushed by Andrew Jackson… who was a Mason.
Freemasons claim that their group dates back to the stonemason guilds of the Middle Ages, some even say it reaches back to the building of King Solomon’s Temple in 850 B.C. No one really believes that. It was actually founded in 1717 by a bunch of affluent Englishmen with too much time on their hands. The organization flourished and spread rapidly throughout the British empire; Masonic lodges appeared in the American colonies as early as the 1730s. A separate strain later popped up in France and swept across Europe.
It was a fraternity of sorts, attracting the community’s best and brightest. They would gather together for strange and secret rituals, swearing oaths of allegiance to the brotherhood and each other. Naturally, it became a place for negotiating business deals and the exchange of gossip. The fraternity was soon a major power center in any large city, and the international network of lodges constituted an immense, wealthy, and well-connected supragovernmental organization.
As such, it took almost no time at all for the the backlash to begin. The Roman Catholic church was officially opposed to the group ever since 1738, when Pope Clement XII condemned Freemasonry and banned it from his faith. Catholics were forbidden from joining, under pain of excommunication. In 1825, Leo XII reiterated the ban and declared it to be permanent and everlasting. In 1884, Leo XIII called on each member of the clergy to get the word out and help defeat this insidious foe:
We pray and beseech you, venerable brethren, to join your efforts with Ours, and earnestly to strive for the extirpation of this foul plague, which is creeping through the veins of the body politic. [...] We wish it to be your rule first of all to tear away the mask from Freemasonry, and to let it be seen as it really is; and by sermons and pastoral letters to instruct the people as to the artifices used by societies of this kind in seducing men and enticing them into their ranks, and as to the depravity of their opinions and the wickedness of their acts.
In his encyclical, Leo pointed out that the Masons were in cahoots with the Socialists and Communists. Quizzically, he omitted the Jews. Perhaps it escaped his mind. Leo also referred to the fact that Masons believed in such demonic notions as democracy, free elections, the rule of law, and the separation of church and state.
This opposition to Freemasonry persisted into the 20th century. Pope Pius XII hated them.
Freemasons suffered harshly in Nazi Germany. Adolf Hitler firmly believed that they had been completely subverted by the Jews, as described in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. As he explained in his bestselling autobiography Mein Kampf, the Masons had been subverted to provide a mask of legitimacy for the diabolical Jew:
[I]n Freemasonry, which has succumbed to him completely, he has an excellent instrument with which to fight for his aims and put them across. The governing circles and the higher strata of the political and economic bourgeoisie are brought into his nets by the strings of Freemasonry, and never need to suspect what is happening.
Accordingly, the Nazis made it one of their top priorities to uproot the organization. The government seized Masonic temples, jailed their membership, and otherwise made life very difficult for anybody attached to the group. In fact, it was Adolf Eichmann’s first assignment in the SS to track the activities of suspected Masons.
The greatest dictators of recent decades have jumped on the Anti-Masonic bandwagon: Stalin, Mussolini, Franco, Pinochet (Chile), Salazar (Portugal)… not to mention all the conspiracy kooks.
There are many who claim that the Freemasons grew out of the medieval organization known as the Knights Templar. Today, the Knights Templar exists as one branch of the interconnected organizations making up Freemasonry.
When a new member joins, his initial ranks in the organization are referred to the Blue Lodge. This culminates in the designation of “Master Mason.” At which point, the newly-minted Mason faces a choice: pursue either the Scottish Rite or the York Rite. Men who choose the York Rite eventually have the option of joining the Knights Templar.
Why They Are Hated And Feared
But why do the Masons have so many enemies? Historically, the group has been attacked for a variety of reasons.
1. The Freemasons secretly rule the world.
Or, more precisely, the usual claim is that the Freemasons are the visible arm of the Illuminati, who actually rule the world. The founder of the Bavarian Illuminati, Adam Weishaupt, was also a Mason. This fact prompted wide speculation that the two groups had been (or still are) working in tandem for a broader objective — the establishment of a “New World Order.” This notion is still widely believed, especially among the militia types.
But how sneaky can this society possibly be, if you can purchase any of their tchotchkes through eBay? Last time we checked, there were 3,204 auctions matching the query: masonic,freemasonry,freemasons. In addition to the standard fezzes, aprons, trowels, rings, and printed literature, there’s a seemingly endless parade of gaudy souvenirs:
ashtrays, ballpoint pens, bath towels, beer bottles, beer mugs, bells, belt buckles, bottle stoppers, bumper stickers, bolo ties, bookends, bookmarks, bowties, buttons, candles, canes, cigarette cases, collapsible umbrellas, combs, commemorative plates, cufflinks, cutlery, decals, decanters, door knockers, doorknobs, drawer pulls, earrings, embroidered patches, figurines, flags, flasks, gavels, goblets, golf balls, hat pins, ice cream molds, jewelry of all kinds, keyrings, lamps, lapel pins, leather belts, leather wallets, letter openers, license plates, license plate holders, lightbulbs, lighters, magnets, medallions, medals, miniature replicas of the ark of the covenant, money clips, paperweights, pillboxes, pocket knives, polo shirts, postage stamps, postcards, potholders, radiator caps, rubber stamps, silver ingots, shot glasses, socks, statuettes, straight razors, sundials, suspenders, swords, teddy bears, thermometers, thimbles, tie clasps, tobacco pipes, tokens, travel alarm clocks, travel mugs, tumblers, wall clocks, wall hangings, watch fobs, windbreakers, wristwatches…
Or, if you’d prefer brand new merchandise instead of hand-me-downs, try contacting any of the hundreds of retail sites listed in Google under fraternal supply. Almost all of them sell Masonic crap. Just keep contacting them until you find one that doesn’t care whether you belong to a Lodge.
2. The Freemasons are Satanic, or at least anti-Christian.
Jack Chick promotes this idea. Many fundamentalist Christians believe that Masons are required to pledge themselves to Freemasonry above and beyond their religious faiths. This would be a strict no-no for the Jesus freaks, if it were true. Which it isn’t.
But then, you can hardly blame them. We’re talking about a bunch of people living under the specter of intergenerational suffering (according to Exodus 20:4-5):
You are strictly prohibited from the manufacture of graven images resembling anything found in heaven above, within the Earth, or dwelling in the waters underneath the Earth. Neither will you bow down before such images or serve them; because, as your god Yahweh, I am easily excitable and will not hesitate to punish sons for the misdeeds of their fathers, all the way to the third and fourth generations.
Which is also why the Jehovah’s Witnesses refuse to say the Pledge of Allegiance. Better safe than sorry, especially when you’re talking about eternal torment for you and your extended progeny.
Some even believe that Freemasonry is itself a religion, whose deity is the pagan god Baphomet.
The problem is, as any devout Christian in the organization will tell you, there is nothing Satanic about the group’s ideology, rituals, or symbols. But the nutballs have an answer for this. Contributing to the sinister reputation are all of their freaky ceremonies. The Masons are very proud of their rituals, which have been copied innumerable times.
One longstanding sore point for the Masons has been the plagiarization of Masonic ceremonies and symbology by Joseph Smith for his religious cult known as the Mormon Church. Smith was inducted into the brotherhood in March 1842. In May he produced the Endowment ceremony, which borrowed whole sections of dialogue from the Masonic ritual. This pissed off a lot of Freemasons, to say the least. Like every Mason, Smith had been required to swear an oath never to reveal the secrets of Freemasonry to non-members, under pain of death. Oh well. Evidently tired of taking crap from the Masons, the Mormons finally excised the offending elements from their ceremony in 1990.
One prominent 19th century Mason was Albert Pike. He was an officer in the Confederate army during the Civil War, who later went on to become a big deal in Freemasonry. He wrote seminal books which are still read today by the Freemasons.
He was also evidently a big fat racist, writing editorials in his newspaper inveighing against the Negroes and so forth. It is widely-believed but poorly documented that Pike might have been one of the original founders of the Ku Klux Klan. The Masons vehemently deny this, of course.

“Why Can’t Christians Pray in Lodge?
Of course Christians can pray in Lodge! What they may not do is offer a specifically Christian prayer as Lodge prayer, any more than a Jew or Muslim may offer a prayer specific to his religion.
The reason for this is that it is the custom of Masonry to require all to participate in and assent to Lodge prayer. How can it be proper for a Christian to require non-Christians to assent to a prayer peculiar to his own religious belief? No Christian would assent to a prayer offered by a Jew or Muslim which essentially denied the doctrine of the Trinity. Because a Lodge acts in unison, prayers offered in Lodge must be of a nature that will be agreed to by all present.
To be sure, some Christians believe that only prayers given in a particularly Christian form are truly prayers. These people cannot become Freemasons because they do not subscribe to the principles of religious toleration required of Masons. But most Christians do not hold these exclusive beliefs and have no objections to the form of prayer offered in the Masonic Lodge”

A Biblical Look at The Lodge

There have been many questions regarding the compatibility of Freemasonry and Christianity. The claim of every Mason is that Masonry and Christianity are totally compatible.
They say that religion is the experience of relating to God, and Masonry is the experience of relating to mankind. While separate, they can and do naturally co-exist. Well, if Freemasonry is truly what it professes publicly, then “Bravo!” It is a welcome fellowship.
If it is being deceptive, or as some claim, a serious danger to the Mason, his or her family and Church, then it should be exposed as such. It is that simple. Let’s look at just a few of the Lodge’s basic principles in the Light of Biblical truth
NO OTHER GODS!
“And God spoke all these words: “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.
“You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,” ( Exodus 20:1-5 )
This is the first and primary Commandment! All other commandments find their reason in it. God put it at the top of the list for a reason! If you have a faulty view of God, your whole spiritual perspective is skewed by that error. Listen again to God:
“This is what the LORD says– Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God. ” (Isaiah 44:6)
If your view of God is anything but that which God, Himself has declared above, your view is not Christian orthodoxy. If your view of Christ is not that which is equally Biblically based, your view of Christ is just as filled with danger. Let’s see what the Masonic fraternity, itself has to say about the nature of God.
FREEMASONS BOW AT EVERY ALTAR
“The true Mason is not creed-bound. He realizes with the divine illumination of his lodge that as a Mason his religion must be universal: Christ, Buddha, or Mohammed, the name means little, for he recognizes only the light and not the bearer. He worships at every shrine, bows before every altar, whether in temple, mosque or cathedral, realizing with his truer understanding the oneness of all spiritual truth.” (The Lost Keys of Freemasonry, Manly P. “Everything good in nature comes from OSIRIS—order, harmony, and the favorable temperature of the seasons and celestial periods.” (Morals and Dogma, Albert Pike, 1956, page 476)
Osiris was the ancient Egyptian god whose annual death and resurrection personified the self-renewing vitality and fertility of nature. “The All Seeing Eye” is a Masonic representation of Osiris.
THE BIBLE SAYS

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” ( 1Tim. 2:5 )
Is Jesus Christ Lord?
In Mystic Masonry, by J. D. Buck, the following Masonic teaching is found:
“It is far more important that men should strive to become Christs than that they should believe that Jesus was Christ.” (page 62)
“The perfect man is Christ: and Christ is God. This is the birth-right and destiny of every human soul.” (page 86)

[Ed note : The word "Baalim," is simply defined as "false god or idol." The Masonic author has included the God of the Christian in that category.]
THE BIBLE SAYS
“You shall have no other gods before Me.” (Deut 5:7)
“Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the LORD your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.” (Deut 8:19)
“Turn now everyone from his evil way, amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them;” (Jer 35:15)
BOUND BY BLOOD OATHS
From the initiation rituals of the “BLUE LODGES” and through all 33 degrees of Freemasonry, every Mason in the world is bound by bloody oaths to maintain the secrets of the Lodge. These binding oaths are kept through the spirit of fear, because the penalties for betraying the brethren of the lodge include serious physical harm to the Mason. Look at them from the perspective of Christ’s admonition.
The oath sworn by the Entered Apprentice or first degree:
“…binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my throat cut across, my tongue torn out by its roots, and my body buried in the rough sands of the sea, at low water mark.” The Master Mason swears,”…under no less penalty than that of having my body severed in two, my bowels taken from thence and burned to ashes, the ashes scatter before the four winds of heaven…” (Duncan’s Ritual of Freemasonry, 3rd Ed., pp. 35 396, David McKay Pub., New York, NY)
THE BIBLE SAYS
Jesus, speaking again to His disciples, clearly dealt with this exact situation.
” There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs. “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. ” (Luke 12:2-5 )
“Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, `Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made to the Lord.’ But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. Simply let your `Yes’ be `Yes,’ and your `No,’ `No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one. ( Matt. 5:33 -37 )
That was Jesus Himself talking to those who believed on Him. Surely, it would be a foolish Christian who would defy the Lord in such a serious matter. What earthly thing would be worth violating a direct instruction from our Savior? None! It is not an isolated warning. (Read James 5:12 :
“But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes,” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.”
TRUSTING THE BIBLE
“The teachers, even of Christianity, are, in general, the most ignorant of the true meaning of that which they teach. There is no book of which so little is known as the Bible. To most who read it, it is as incomprehensible as the Sohar.” (Morals and Dogma, Albert Pike, 1956, page 105)
The Bible Says
We do well to know the Word Of God. As Jesus prayed to the Father for His disciples, His prayer was: ” Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”. ( John 17:17)
The Bible clearly teaches that the mature Chrstian must be grounded in God’s Word. This is probably the most grievious error of those enmeshed in the web of Freemasonry. It is the ignorance of or lack of regard for the truth of God’s Holy Word.
What true Christian man (or woman) would dare go through the rituals of Freemasonry knowing that someday, he or she would have to stand before a Holy God and account for those acts of darkness. Let me give you a few examples.
THE JUDGMENT OF THE DAMNED
The grave, Christless end awaiting members of the Masonic order can be demonstarted by the Apron Lecture, given every Mason in the Blue Lodge Ceremony. The following quote can be found almost word for word in most Masonic Monitors, the Craft ritual manual. Each candidate, upon completion of the initiation is given a white Lambskin Apron whose pure and spotless surface, he is told, would be
“an ever present reminder of purity of life and rectitude of conduct, and when at last, after a life of faithful service your weary feet shall have come to the end of life’s toilsome journey and from your nerveless grasp shall have dropped forever the working tools of life, may the record of your life be as pure and spotless as this fair emblem which I place in your hands tonight, and when your trembling soul shall stand, naked and alone, before the Great White Throne, there to receive judgment for the deeds done while here in the body, may it be your portion to hear from Him who sitteth as the Judge Supreme, the welcome words: Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee rule over many things! Enter into the joy of thy Lord.”
While the words sound noble, it is to the everlasting pit of hell that the unsuspecting candidate has been assigned in the subtle words of the message. The promise is that the apron represents the works of the flesh when the Mason stands before God at the Great White Throne judgment.
There is only one Great White Throne Judgment in my Bible and it is found in REV 20:11-15. It is the judgment of those dead not in Christ, the judgment of the damned, who will be judged… not by the gift of God through Christ, but by their own works, with an end in the lake of fire. What a tragedy! All worthy Masons are buried with this apron as their covering before God.
THE KING OF THE PIT OF HELL
In the seventeenth degree of the Scottish Rite, or The Knights of the East and West degree, after the candidates have completed the initiation they are given the secret password, Jubulum, and the Sacred Word, Abaddon. Here is the clue to the true identity of the Masonic Deity. It is revealed in the “Sacred Word” of this ritual, “Abaddon.” In Revelation 9:11, we learn that
“they [the demons and workers from hell] had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon!”
Again, I must ask, “How could any true Christian dare to take upon himself that evil name as a sacred word?”
THE WORD IS OUT
The supposed quest of the Blue Lodge Masons is the search for “The Lost Word.” Most Masonic ritual is concerned with the recovery of this lost word, presumed to be the name of God-supposedly lost through the murder of the architect, Hiram Abiff, during the building of Solomon’s Temple. This quest is attained during the ritual of the ROYAL ARCH DEGREE.
It is here that the SECRET NAME of the DEITY OF MASONRY is revealed. That name is “JAHBULON.”
“JAH” is the short form of the Hebrew name of God, “Yahweh,” or “Jehovah.” “BUL” is a rendering of the name, BAAL. “ON” is the term used in the Babylonian mysteries to call upon the deity, “OSIRIS”! The secret ritual book of the Craft prints the letters J.B.O. It states that:
“We three do meet and agree-in peace, love and unity-the Sacred Word to keep and never to divulge the same-until we three, or three such as we do meet and agree.”
No Royal Arch Mason can pronounce the sacred name by himself. What is represented as the god of Masonry is a three-headed monster so remote from the Christian Trinity and so blasphemous as to damn the soul of anyone who would dare to pronounce its name in a ritual of worship.
USURPING THE PRIESTHOOD OF JESUS
In the 19th degree of Scottish rite Freemasonry, the Initiate receives the degree of GRAND PONTIFF. It is during this ritual that the candidate swears an oath of secrecy and an oath of total obedience “to any Chapter of this degree to which i may belong; and the edicts, laws and mandates of the Grand Consistory of Sublime Princes and Commanders of the Royal Secret, as well as those of the Supreme Council of the 33rd degree…”
It is then that the “Thrice Puissant” anoints him with oil on the crown of his head and says: “Be thou a Priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.”
THE BIBLE SAYS
“and inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: The LORD has sworn And will not relent, You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek”), by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant. Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.”(Heb 7:20-24)
PAGAN COMMUNION—EATING THE DEAD
“QUESTION: What is to us the chief symbol of man’s ultimate redemption and regeneration?
“ANSWER: The fraternal supper, of bread which nourishes, and of wine which refreshes and exhilarates, symbolical of the time which is to come, when all mankind shall be one great harmonious brotherhood; and teaching us these great lessons: that as matter changes ever, but no single atom is annihilated, it is not rational to suppose that the far nobler soul does not continue to exist beyond the grace: that many thousands who have died might claim to be joint owners with ourselves of the particles that compose our physical bodies; for matter ever forms new combinations; and the bodies of the ancient dead, the patriarches before and since the flood, the kings and common people of all ages, resolved into their constituent elements, are carried upon the wind over all continents, and continually enter into and form part of the habitations of new souls, creating new bonds of sympathy and brotherhood between each man that lives and all his race. And thus, in the bread we eat, and in the wine we drink tonight may enter into and form of us part of us the identical particles of matter that once formed parts of the material bodies called Moses, Confucius, Plato, Socrates or Jesus of Nazareth. In the truest sense, we eat and drink the bodies of the dead; and cannot say that there is a single atom of our blood or body, the ownership of which some other soul might not dispute with us.” (Morals And Dogma, Albert Pike, page 539)
THE BIBLE SAYS
“And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”( Luke 22:19-21)
but….ISN’T THE YORK RITE CHRISTIAN FREEMASONRY?
I am often told that the York Rite is a Christian Rite from start to finish. Would that it were true. First, the deep roots of Freemasonry are entwined within every branch of the craft and go through every level of paganism, cultic and occult practices, right into the depths of Luciferic rituals. No part of the system is exempt. The York Rite is no different and those men within it who claim it is free from any non-Christian influence are either blind fools or lying through their teeth!
Let’s look at the “Knights Templar” Degree. It is reported to have originally been established to preserve and protect the craft. The special garb worn in the degree consists an Apron, sash and cordon.
The center of the Apron displays a hand holding a severed head, dripping blood. On the flap is a hand holding a knife. Drops of red blood cover the white background.
The Sash is white with a yellow fringe. It is filled with gory, severed heads, arms and legs, mixed in with knives, crosses and crowns. The cordon, which goes around the neck, is dark satin with severed heads down the side and a small ceremonial sword as the breast ornament. Along with these grotesque items is a human skull cut and pinned so that the top of the skull can be detached to use a drinking vessel. And they call this the Christian Rite??
A BIZZARE BLOOD RITUAL
The paraphernalia of this ritual should be evidence enough that the York Rite is every bit as pagan as the Scottish Rite, but let me finish this up with a few excerpts from the rite, itself.
The obligation in this degree, called the Master’s Nine Of Elect, is now given to the candidate in the usual form. While the candidate is kneeling at the altar, the companions all stand over him with raised poniards, as if about to stab him. Meanwhile a horrible, bloody head sits on the altar, facing him.
He swears this blood oath: “I do solemnly swear, in the presence of Almighty God, that I will revenge the assassination of our worthy Master, Hiram Abiff, not only on the murderers, but also on all who may betray the secrets of this degree; and furthermore, that I will keep and protect this Order with all my might, and the brethren, in general, with all my power, and furthermore, that I will obey the decrees of the Grand Council of Princes of Jerusalem; and, if I violate my obligation, I consent to be struck with the dreadful poniard of vengeance, now presented to me, and to have my head cut off, and stuck on the highest pole, or pinnacle, in the eastern part of the world, as a monument of my villainy! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen!”
The vows here are sealed with the Fifth Libation or The Sealed Obligation. The candidate is given the human skull filled with wine, which he drinks after swearing that “the sins of the person whose skull this once was, be heaped upon my head, in addition to my own; and may appear in judgment against me, both here and hereafter, should I violate or transgress any obligation in Masonry, or the Orders of [this] knighthood…”
I am sorry, but any man who has sworn such oaths has so violated his Christian faith and grieved the Holy Spirit that I suspect he and all those over whom he has headship have been removed from that umbrella of Christ’s protection.
THE GOD OF THE MYSTIC SHRINE
The candidates for this ritual kneel at the ALTAR OF OBLIGATION with arms bound, leaning upon the top, heads bowed. There they are required to “assume a most powerful and binding oath, inseparably uniting yourself with us, and once taken, it can never be retracted or departed from.”
The oath itself is curse enough, being four pages in length. Its penalty included “having my eyeballs pierced to the center with a three-edged blade.”
The revelation of truth is in the candidates’ sealing of the oath, revealing the true nature of the Masonic god of the “Mystic Shrine”:
“…and may ALLAH, the god of Arab, Moslem and Mohammedan, the GOD OF OUR FATHERS, support me to the entire fulfillment of the same, Amen, Amen, Amen.” (The Ancient Arabic Order, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, pages 35-39, Allen Publishing Co. New York, NY) Allah IS NOT another name for the God of the Bible.

I do not see how any Christian, most of all a Christian minister, can go into these secret lodges with unbelievers. Man, who according to Gen 1: 26&27 was created by God from clay and the breath of life breathed into him, became a Living Soul and assumed the image of God. The enemy did not wait long either. We see in Gen 3: 4, that the enemy knew was valuable in Adam and that is what he went for, -The Living Soul.
How was The Living Soul Stolen?
I would love for you to understand how even witch-doctors and the so called ‘black-hands’, freemasons, scientologists, etc steal from people.
In Gen 2: 17, God commands Adam that if he gets in congress with the devil himself who possessed the knowledge of good and evil, he surely would die. In Gen 3: 4, the devil outright disputes God’s command to man and convinces man that he cannot die simply by eating the forbidden fruit but on the contrary, he will discover more than the Living Soul enable him. Here began the onslaught of a double mind.
In Gen 5: 2, both Adam and Eve had one name, it means Adam and Eve were of one soul.
When Adam let down his guard and chose to get in congress with satan, the Living Soul was lost for good. Well, of course until now. In other words, the love of God vanished. Since it is the Living Soul that Adam was using to own and dominate his charge, it is the same Living Soul carrying the love of God that the devil targeted since without that, Adam could not own and dominate creation nor participate in the creation process.
The late satan always took and his agents always takes all from people and from the whole creation so they can dominate your things. It’s him who owns denote (-) sign. When Jesus came and got sacrificed for the iniquities of humanity, he added the (|) sign and brought all back to people and the whole creation with the cross (†) i.e. Jesus adds value to life.
When the love of God disappeared, that cherub of Ez 28: 1-19 used the little bit of Living Soul he managed to chafe off Adam to cause extreme chaos and twist God’s primary intention. An example of their secret code is the number 13. The wicked numerologists propagate their lies by associating events in certain times and season as tied to some geometrical configurations governing the creation process. They claim that because the 12 disciples’ lives revolved around Jesus as a 13th sphere and Jesus was crucified on a Friday, then any Friday that falls on the 13th must be a cursed day. Like last Friday. (Of course that works for them because we don’t have a Friday in God’s calendar). They mention the pre-dawn arrest, sentencing and consequent burning alive at the stake of the first Knights Templar (not to be confused with the current Knights Templar Lodge of Freemasons) by the Roman Catholic, the Aztec ancient calendar, and other theories as reference points. These are worldly theories of worrying times. By masquerading as the logical argumentators and misguiding the masses like that, the wicked are planting seeds of doubt in people’s minds so you question the composition of the substance of your faith.
Further evidence to how their influence has bled in to the fabric of many a society is where you find building contractors skipping floor 13 when they build storied structures. Check the elevator in that high-rise you are staying, working or visiting; from floor 12, it’s on to floor 14. And keep looking into many other places, you will see same pattern.
Watch your six and discern where your position is in the creation process. This way, you will be able to lock-on into the positions of your enemies and their numbers, their symbols, their pillars, their will, animal sacrifices and human-blood pacts, their banks, their ways, rules and regulations, systems and dress code, and the tactics they use to lasso people into their domain. Most religions and denominations are under their influence and power; only the Church of God of Armies has transcended these principalities in the holy name of Jesus Christ!
Just look at the way the wicked are deeply involving state leaders in their activities, or is it the other way round? Now you know. Basically what the enemy stole here that the occult like freemasons keep pursuing and which Jesus intended to restore by dying for humanity, was the ability to see your opportunities of ensuring beyond the sky is the limit for anything you do and create; restoring bubbling life to everything we touch, awakening dormant skills, gifts and talents. Humans became blind after Light was stolen on Day One. Man could not then visualize opportunities that abound and grasp the higher levels and deeper horizons through which he could utilize knowledge, skills, talents and creativity in ways that are sincerely grateful, prayerful and praiseworthy to God. After the enemy had pilfered the light of the spiritual eye, all man could see was ‘OPPORTUNITIES ARE NO WHERE!’ Alternatively, the enemy introduced his own rules of engagement that if and when man wants to own within himself a gushing spring of all those good treasures just mentioned above which in essence God intended for him in the first place to own and use to subdue and dominate (Gen 1: 26 -remember: it’s the living soul in Gen 2: 7 which is the breathe of life in man was the one given power of dominion, not a human), then one has to undergo idolatrous rituals, kill family, relate incestuously, worship animals, participate in voodoo and witchcraft, visit astrologers and yogi, consult crystal balls, tarot cards and palmists, lacerate ones-self with blades, walk on fire, join occults like masonic temples, scientology etc.

13tukilitazamia tumaini lenye baraka na ufunuo wa utukufu wa Mungu wetu Mkuu na Mwokozi wetu Yesu Kristo,
14Yeye ndiye aliyejitoa nafsi Yake kwa ajili yetu ili atukomboe kutoka katika uovu wote na kujisafishia watu kuwa mali Yake Mwenyewe, yaani, wale walio na bidii katika kutenda mema.
